Avril joined Ellahi Law in the Summer of 2023 as an Articled Student. After exploring various practice areas during her articling term, the areas of immigration and family law have been most exciting. Avril was born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka and immigrated to Canada over a decade ago, thus valuing the opportunity to assist others in their immigration needs.
Avril speaks fluently in both English and Sinhalese. Outside work, Avril loves traveling, is a big foodie, and spending time with family and friends.
